Step aboard and join us for a spine-chilling adventure like no other where the secrets of the past come alive. Get ready to embark on our Haunted Harbour, Spirits of the Marine Museum Revealed ghost tour: a journey that incorporates both history and eyewitness accounts.

Lake Winnipeg, a prairie ocean hidden in the heartland, holds untold stories of triumph and tragedy. Here at the Marine Museum of Manitoba, the spirits of the past are eager to be heard, waiting for you to uncover their tales. From the late 1800s to the 1960s, this land, the water, and the ships themselves were witness to a vibrant seafaring era.  At the Marine Museum, the spirits of the past still walk the halls and stand upon the bows of these now landlocked ships.

As you step foot onto these storied vessels, you’ll encounter the lingering presence of Captain John Hokanson, learn why you should never whistle aboard a ship and explore the cramped crew cabins and the galley where the hardworking cook prepared meals. Can you spot the glowing red eyes of the S.S Keenora’s stowaway?

Join us on the boat deck to pay tribute to the brave souls who battled the Spanish Influenza, transporting doctors, medicine, and the departed. The echoes of their courage and compassion can still be felt as you gaze across the water, where shadowy figures may watch from the distant shore.

As you disembark and carry the tales of these ghostly ships with you, you will forever remember the mysteries that lie beneath the dark waves of Lake Winnipeg.

Join us for an unforgettable experience.
