The Marine Museum of Manitoba is pleased to announce the 2025 Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries All-Hands on Deck Days, scheduled for Sunday, May 18th, and Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This esteemed annual event provides visitors with complimentary access to the museum’s historic ships, presenting a unique opportunity to engage with Manitoba’s maritime heritage. This year, we are particularly honoured to have Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries as the sponsor, marking the first time they are supporting this cherished community event.
Since its inception in 1974, the Marine Museum of Manitoba has been committed to preserving and celebrating the maritime history of Lake Winnipeg and the Red River. In the past five years, the museum has significantly enhanced its offerings through new and interactive exhibits, enriching the visitor experience for individuals of all ages. The Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries All-Hands on Deck Days serve as an ideal occasion for the community to come together and explore these developments.

While admission to the event is free, the Marine Museum of Manitoba has historically received generous donations during All-Hands on Deck Days. This year, all contributions will be allocated to the museum’s Heritage Trust Endowment Fund as part of a campaign to raise $25,000. These funds will be matched dollar for dollar, resulting in a total investment of $50,000 that will sustain the museum’s mission in perpetuity. All-Hands on Deck Day is a highlight of our annual calendar, and we are especially delighted to celebrate it with the support of Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries. This event not only enables us to share our history but also helps secure the future of the museum. Every donation made during the day will have a lasting impact, assisting us in continuing our work for generations to come.
